Back County Provisions is a specialty sandwich shop/deli based out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado with other locations in Jackson Hole, Wy and also the newest shop in Ft. Collins, CO. Peter Boniface and David Pepin have created a unique shop that caters to the demanding lifestyle of those who live in the recreational paradise of the Rocky Mountains.

The boys...searched for a location, worked hard to come up with a business plan and secure loans - and make all those things happen at the same time.
"You can talk and talk about it, but you just have to do it," said Dave Pepin.
Pepin and co-owner Pete Boniface, both 30, are middle school friends. Boniface moved out here in the early 90's to ski, while Pepin ended up managing a restaurant in Boston for a while.
The space was already a restaurant, but they did some renovations and never ceased to be amazed at the things that came up, from higher-than expected electric hook-up bills to problmes with phone systems.
"There are just alot of surprises," said Pepin. "You just have to go along with them."
They work six days a week and now have [several] employees, including Pete's wife, Kelly. |
